About the position:
Reporting to the Head of Treasury, the Treasury Analyst role is designed to support the Senior Treasury team in the daily liquidity operations and stakeholder reporting of Snowy Hydro. The role will prepare treasury reports and provide accurate, relevant and timely analysis to assist senior leaders in their strategic decision-making process.
Key Responsibilities:

Day to day operating of the organization’s cash management functions, including recommendations to the Deputy Treasurer and/or Head of Treasury on forecasting, liquidity management, and short-term investments

Providing analysis to assist the Treasury team in decision-making on interest rates and foreign currency hedging requirements

Updating and assessing prudential requirements in line with AEMO requirements – making recommendations to the Deputy Treasurer and/or Head of Treasury for action

Work with the Deputy Treasurer to develop strategies for cash optimisation, working capital management, and funding requirements

Identify and make recommendations to manage financial risks, including interest rates, currency and commodity price risks

This role is based in Sydney.
This is a hybrid role based on 3 days in the office.
About you:

You have advanced proficiency in treasury management systems and financial modelling

You hold a degree in finance, accounting, economics or related fields

You bring good communication and presentation skills
