About the position:

Are you an experienced civil engineer ready to leave your mark on one of Australia’s most significant infrastructure projects? In this pivotal role, you will oversee major civil construction works, ensuring everything is built to the highest standard, meets contractual requirements, and aligns with the Employer's vision. If you thrive in dynamic, large-scale environments and love seeing a complex project come to life, this is for you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Championing Safety: Upholding the highest standards of health and safety, leading by example, and living the Snowy Values every day on site.

  • Driving Construction Excellence: Proactively overseeing contractor activities to catch potential issues early, preventing delays, and ensuring the Snowy 2.0 asset performs exactly as designed.

  • Quality Management: Owning the on-site QA process for civil works, reviewing the latest IFC drawings, and guaranteeing top-tier documentation.

  • Problem Solving: Spotting discrepancies or faults in site documents and collaborating with the Construction Manager to find immediate, effective solutions

About you:

  • Stakeholder Management: Highly developed communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with and supervise external contractors, steelfixers, and concrete suppliers.
