About the position:

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Outage Coordinator to join our high performing team in Khancoban. In this dynamic role you would be reporting to the Outage Manager and responsible for coordination and short term planning, scheduling and site management of our major overhauls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in development of outage schedules and work plans, covering all aspects of the execution phase from site set up, through physical execution works, to project handover and close out.

  • Assist Outage Planning Officers to develop Outage Materials lists and assist with the development of Technical Work Instructions (TWIs).

  • Submit purchase requisitions and carry out the procurement for all materials, consumables and equipment, monitor the manufacturing or delivery progress of items, and provide delivery forecasts against expected usage requirement dates. 

  • Develop permit requests as and when required, and coordinate with regional Plant Access Coordinators (PAC’s) on timing and isolation coverage.

  • Provide visible safety leadership, and contribute to safety and investigative process management.

  • Responsible for the development of emergent works management within an outage defect and issues register 

  • Review and manage short term internal resource schedules and emergent work in Ellipse from outage schedule forecasts and manage availability of equipment in preparation for site works.

  • Maintain Ellipse records and completions for completed work

  • Actively engage with the range of stakeholders who have an input to the maintenance during all phases of planning, execution, commissioning and handover.

  • Develop good working relationships with wider regional team and their direct reports

About you:

  • Trade qualified with demonstrated major maintenance experience 

  • Experience working with a CMMS (Ellipse preferred but not essential) and MS project

  • Demonstrated planning and project scheduling experience 

  • Strong leadership skills on multidisciplinary sites as well as stakeholder management capability 

  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of procurement processes and contractual management

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to relate to all levels inside and outside the business
