About the position:
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Outage Coordinator to join our high performing team in Khancoban. In this dynamic role you would be reporting to the Outage Manager and responsible for overseeing the planning, logistics, scheduling and site management of our major overhauls.
Please note, this is an onsite role that requires you to be located in Khancoban. Snowy Hydro is able to provide relocation assistance if required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Development of overhaul schedules and work plans, covering all aspects of the execution phase from site set up, through physical execution works, to project handover and close out.
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, environment and ensure that the systems and processes are implemented to ensure zero harm during site works.
- Work closely with teams to initiate and participate in overhaul reviews at the appropriate time in the maintenance planning stage.
- Work closely with Engineering, Technical and Trades and support services in the delivery of maintenance to the agreed KPIs of HSE, budget, schedule and quality.
- Lead the daily pre-start and end of day toolbox meetings
- Provide overall site management and ‘Job Lead' for concurrent and sequential program of works, within the site involving different trades, supervisors and contractors.
- Ensure that the appropriate resources (technical or otherwise) are utilised during the execution of the maintenance.
- Manage inventory and specialist equipment to ensure the appropriate items are available as required
- Actively engage with the range of stakeholders who have an input to the maintenance during all phases of planning, execution, commissioning and handover.
- Develop good working relationships with wider regional team and their direct reports
- Lead supervision of contractors and ensure ongoing compliance with predetermined contractual terms and conditions of agreed deliverables
About you:
- A minimum of 10 years of overhaul experience with a minimum of 3 years being in a coordination role
- Experience working with a CMMS (Ellipse preferred but not essential)
- Demonstrated project scheduling experience
- Strong leadership skills on multidisciplinary sites as well as stakeholder management capability
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of procurement processes and contractual management
