About the position:
We are seeking an experienced, driven and motivated Planning Officer to coordinate and complete the design and preparation of work packages to support the effective delivery of the regional master work plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scoping, planning and coordinating routine, defect and breakdown maintenance, ensuring the regional maintenance schedule is delivered within set timeframes and priorities.
- Ensuring all maintenance work is planned in accordance with Snowy Hydro’s maintenance processes and systems.
- Coordinating and preparing work and parts packages, including determining spare equipment requirements, for all regional work.
- Establishing and coordinating contracts for the provision of operating and maintenance jobs, ensuring all contractor activities are undertaken in accordance with the policies, procedures and processes of the business
About the location:
This position is an on-site role (100% site based) located in Jindabyne, NSW, on a 9 day fortnight and is not a DIDO or FIFO arrangement. Relocation assistance can be provided if you're interested in relocating to a location within reasonable commuting distance of Jindabyne.
About you:

Trade qualified with 6+ years post-trade experience

Knowledge of maintenance program requirements, analysis techniques and Work Management practices

Experience in maintenance planning and project management in a heavy or electrical generation industry environment

Demonstrated ability to communicate with a range of personnel and customers

Computer skills involving spreadsheets and statistical analysis
