About the position:
Snowy 2.0 is looking for a Project Planner to join our onsite team in Tantangara, NSW. This is a great opportunity to work on a landmark mega project, with responsibility for programme management and a focus on planning and monitoring of ongoing works. We currently have a TBM running, so experience in tunnelling within heavy civil industry is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Providing input and updates for the master programme maintenance

Liaising with the project team for delay/variation/optimisation/mitigation proposals of Contractors from a Planning and Commercial perspective

Participation and advising in risk management works for time-related risks

Communicating and negotiating with contractors and subcontractor for project planning related aspects

Assisting in the closure of the Planning Management System

Development, maintenance, monitoring and reporting on key KPIs for works performed

Assisting in the development, maintenance and monitoring of detailed programmes for owner teams works and programmes for support projects

Assisting in Delay Analysis and preparation of what-if scenarios for programme optimisation
About the location:
This role is based on a 14/7 FIFO roster. A Cooma based 5/2 DIDO roster is also available.
About you:

You hold a Bachelor's degree related to Construction or project management or significant experience in project planning

You have worked on major civil infrastructure or tunnelling projects

With an analytical mind, you bring the ability to comprehend complex project programmes and interdependencies between packages in an EPC turnkey environment.

Having experience using Primavera P6 is essential

You bring an understanding of Multidisciplinary interdependencies for a mega construction project and multidisciplinary project execution

You have an understanding of Cost management systems including time phasing and overall project control functions

You will be liaising with Project, Commercial, D&C and Tunnelling teams, so your communication skills are strong
