The role:
As Procurement Systems Specialist, you will provide effective ongoing development and administration of Snowy Hydro’s procurement management systems. You will contribute to the broader procurement activities by supporting continuous improvement, data cleansing and data quality initiatives that enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the procurement process.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Designing visual dashboards and reports to deliver insights into procurement operations for key stakeholders.
- Generating assurance reports to identify areas of concern, risks, and opportunities.
- Managing system administration including user set up, training and ongoing support to end-users.
- Diagnosing and trouble shooting system issues; coordinating with software providers for resolution.
- Maintaining data quality management processes and configuring systems for functional requirements.
- Driving business process and system optimisation by analysing improvement opportunities, prioritising enhancements and implementing better workflow and data collection.
- Providing support to the technical team during the implementation of system upgrade or replacement projects.
- Collaborating with the Optimisation Lead to develop and deliver informative training programs for business stakeholders.
We’re ideally looking for someone with:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in procurement, finance and/or similar role.
- Knowledge of the Gatekeeper application or similar information management system, relational data and documentation of specifications.
- Knowledge of financial systems and processes, including procure-to-payment & financial accounting.
- Strong commercial acumen to identify value drivers and opportunities.
- Excellent listening, engagement, delivery and communication skills.
- Ability to present business insights, with experience in designing Power BI dashboards or similar tools.
- Organized and keen attention to detail, quality, and compliance.
About the Location:
This position can be located in either Melbourne, Sydney or Cooma Offices.
