About the position:
Through our Development Programs, we believe in supporting the next generation of business professionals, engineers and trades through education, career development and work experience.
We are looking for a self driven person to join our team as a stores and warehousing trainee, based in Cooma, NSW. This traineeship will see you supporting the supply chains operations and assisting the stores team with a range of administration tasks such as purchasing, stock control, distribution, storage and disposal.
A traineeship with Snowy Hydro is a unique opportunity to complete a nationally accredited tertiary qualification whilst gaining real world, on-the-job experience.

- is committed to furthering their skills and knowledge through on-the-job learning and studying,
- can ‘think outside the box', help the team problem-solve and bring new ideas to the business,
- is a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills and enjoys being part of a team,
- has a keen eye for detail, good time management skills and the ability to handle different tasks,
- Hold a ‘C’ class drivers licence (Provisional licence as a minimum is a must)
- is proactive, punctual and reliable, and
- shares the Snowy Hydro values of safety, teamwork, agility, decency, ownership and courage.
About the location:
- be employed on a full-time 24-month contract and be paid to learn and expand your knowledge and experience (adding valuable skills and experience to your CV).
- Upon successful completion of your course, have gained an accredited Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations and Forklift License
- be working with experts in their field, who will teach, mentor and support you through every step of your traineeship.
