Focused on providing on-demand power and vast storage capacity, this project is paving the way for a sustainable, low-carbon future.

The Role

Based in Cooma reporting to the Onboarding Lead, this role plays a pivotal part in developing high-quality, evidence-informed training materials for the 2.0 Project. The focus is on combining strong theoretical foundations with practical skills development, while also delivering training across both face-to-face and online modalities.

This 2-year contract is based in Cooma (Monday–Friday). Relocation assistance is available if you're joining us from outside the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Development: Design high-quality, evidence-based training materials that balance theoretical knowledge with practical skill development.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with HR, Safety, and principal contractors to align training objectives.

  • Program Updates: Continuously review and refresh onboarding, inductions, and training programs under the guidance of leadership.

  • Resource Creation: Produce engaging learning tools, including presentations, workbooks, and session plans, to drive productivity and compliance.

  • Facilitation: Deliver interactive and engaging training sessions through both face-to-face and digital platforms.

  • Logistics & Support: Manage training room setup, material distribution, and catering while actively promoting new training initiatives.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate training records, compliance data, and project documentation to meet strict reporting deadlines.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collect and analyse participant feedback to refine course content and enhance workforce development.

You'll Bring:

A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is preferred, along with a strong background in project coordination and administration. You will have great organisational skills to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. With excellent communication skills and a sharp eye for detail, you can engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Additionally, you hold a Class C Driver’s Licence and have the drive to deliver high-quality training support in a fast-paced environment.
