Snowy Hydro owns and operates a powerful combination of generation assets, including the iconic Snowy Hydro-electric Scheme, gas and diesel electricity generating plants, and contracted wind and solar energy in the National Electricity Market. We also provide electricity and gas to over 1.5 million retail customers through our retail brands Red Energy and Lumo Energy. Snowy 2.0, currently under construction, is Australia's largest committed renewable energy project. This nation-building project will provide on-demand energy and large-scale storage for many generations to come.

 

About the position

As our Senior Talent Acquisition Partner (Snowy 2.0 & Generation), you will be at the heart of Australia’s renewable energy transition. From Snowy 2.0 to the ongoing excellence of our existing Generation assets, you will be responsible for identifying the technical experts and operational leaders who will bring Snowy 2.0 to life and ensure our Generation business has the specialised talent required to maintain and evolve our critical infrastructure for decades to come.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Sourcing: Create and execute innovative strategies to identify and attract talent, leveraging LinkedIn Recruiter, talent pipelines, and referrals

  • Stakeholder Partnership: Build collaborative relationships with hiring managers and senior leaders to understand talent needs and provide expert guidance on the recruitment lifecycle

  • Candidate Experience: Ensure a supportive and seamless candidate journey throughout the hiring process

  • Recruitment Management: Facilitate the end-to-end process, including job brief development, advertising, screening, interviewing, assessment, and offer management

  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed on market trends and talent insights to help shape our long-term recruitment strategies

  • Employer Branding: Contribute to sharing the Snowy Hydro story within the talent market

About you

We’re looking for someone who enjoys building authentic relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike. You will take full ownership of the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, from creating effective sourcing strategies to managing the offer process.

 

  • Experience as a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant (or similar)

  • A track record of identifying and connecting with passive candidates

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build genuine rapport with diverse stakeholders

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a dynamic environment

  • A commitment to delivering a high-quality experience for both candidates and hiring managers
