About the position:
The Senior Internal Communications Specialist will contribute to a better engaged and informed workplace during a time of growth and transformation. Partnering with key stakeholders, you’ll create impactful internal campaigns and engaging content for a variety of channels (intranet news, video, digital and leadership), along with organising key events and managing Snowy’s internal editorial calendar and publishing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing internal news production aligned with Snowy’s strategy and tone of voice
- Partnering with stakeholders to develop and deliver best-practice communication strategies
- Organising internal events and activities (e.g. Town Halls, Forums and leader updates)
- Managing Snowy’s internal editorial calendar and publishing
- Using data to inform campaigns and content and identifying opportunities for improvement
About the location:
This role can be based out of Cooma or Sydney.
About you:
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in internal communications or corporate communications, ideally within a large-scale, complex organisation.
- An eye for news and strong storytelling and editing skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging communications.
- Proven experience in strategic communication planning and advising senior leaders.
- Proactive and collaborative working style – a team player who brings ideas and initiative.
- Experience managing communication through organisational change or transformation.
- Attention to detail.
- Understanding of best-practice internal communications and trends.
- Experience with internal communications measurement and analysing data for trends and areas for improvement.
- Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
