The Role

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager at Voith, this role is responsible for overseeing the installation of Voith equipment and advancing projects through the development lifecycle. The position requires a proactive approach to risk management, effective project strategy development and execution, strong cost control practices, and a consistent focus on health and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Aligning all parties and managing expectations for successful delivery

  • Clearly defining and agreeing on project scope with FGJV, Voith, and Snowy Hydro

  • Overseeing Voith’s deliverables and managing project risks

  • Monitoring Voith’s offshore and onshore supply and installation performance against cost and schedule

  • Reviewing monthly progress reports and ensuring all work meets quality standards and project goals

  • Ensure clear expectations, contract compliance, and smooth delivery through regular coordination, issue escalation, interface management, attendance at FAT, and effective planning and improvement of commissioning activities. 

  • Manage any compliance issues that may arise, including health and safety regulations, environmental standards, or industry-specific codes.

  • Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including site teams, to resolve issues, ensure safety, and maintain collaboration across all project interfaces.

  • Ensure client expectations are aligned with contractor capabilities to prevent misunderstandings and scope changes.

You'll Bring To The Team

Experience in project management backed by a recognised qualification in Engineering, Construction, or Project Management. With strong expertise in construction and E&M installation, you’ve successfully led complex infrastructure projects with multiple contract interfaces. You’re a clear communicator, skilled in managing stakeholders, negotiating with contractors, and working independently to meet project goals. Your ability to prioritise, adapt, and stay focused on broader business outcomes makes you a valuable asset to any delivery team.
