This position offers a 2-year fixed-term contract in Cooma, working a 5/2 roster. We offer relocation assistance to help make the move as smooth as possible.
Key Responsibilities:

-
Technical Analysis: You'll independently perform or oversee structural analyses and computations to verify the contractor's designs are valid and structurally sound.
-
Collaborate and Advise: You will participate in meetings to resolve technical issues and work closely with other engineering teams (geotechnical, mechanical, electrical) to stay informed on critical project developments that may impact the structural design.
- Conduct site visits and inspections: Attend on-site meetings and perform regular inspections to assist with technical advice and ensure accurate record-keeping of "as-built" designs.
-
Provide technical support to the construction team: Review construction documents, provide advice on methods and structural issues, and attend meetings focused on safety and constructability.
What You'll Bring
A minimum Bachelor of Engineering in civil or structural engineering with practical experience in civil or structural design and construction.
