Focused on providing on-demand power and vast storage capacity, this project is paving the way for a sustainable, low-carbon future.

The Role

Based in Cooma, the Governance and Reporting Coordinator will play a key role in supporting strong governance and reporting frameworks that enable effective decision-making, ensure compliance, and facilitate stakeholder engagement. This role will work closely with project leaders and stakeholders to maintain high standards of governance across all phases of the project lifecycle.

Snowy Hydro provides generous relocation assistance and support for individuals relocating to the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain the project governance and reporting framework, ensuring alignment with organisational policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Support effective decision-making by coordinating relevant materials, analysing data, and ensuring alignment with the governance framework.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of governance activities, decisions, and communications. Prepare regular reports for stakeholders, senior management, and regulatory bodies.

  • Coordinate governance processes related to change management, ensuring any changes to project scope, schedule, or budget are appropriately documented and communicated.

You’ll have proven experience in a governance role, ideally within large-scale infrastructure projects, and a solid understanding of project management principles and governance best practices. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, while your attention to detail and ability to interpret complex information will support informed decision-making. Familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations, and industry standards will round out your ability to ensure compliance and uphold high governance standards.
