About the position:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Engineer (Electrical) to join the Snowy 2.0 Owners team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing onsite engineering oversight and assurance of electrical construction and installation activities, ensuring that all works are delivered to the highest standards and in strict accordance with the Employer’s Requirements (ER).
Key Responsibilities:

Safety Leadership: Champion a culture of safety by implementing plans and modeling behaviors consistent with Snowy Values.

Construction Oversight: Provide assurance that the contractor is complying with design requirements, specifications, and the latest IFC drawings.

Proactive Monitoring: Constantly review contractor activities to detect performance deficiencies, discrepancies, or faults early.

Technical Coordination: Conduct reviews of Safety in Design studies, risk assessments, and construction documentation.

Reporting: Monitor and prepare daily reports on site progress, including plant, equipment, KPIs, and resource management.

Documentation Management: Manage and maintain accurate, accessible records, including ITP progress and NCR registers
About the location:
This role will require you to be 100% on-site, working off a 14/7 FIFO roster. Standard FIFO camp-style arrangements are included.
About you:

Qualifications: Recognised tertiary degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience: Experience on large-scale, complex civil or infrastructure projects and knowledge of EM installation.

Project Expertise: Demonstrated experience in the delivery of complex infrastructure projects with multiple contract interfaces.

Technical Skills: Knowledge of construction and E&M installation is highly regarded.

Soft Skills: Ability to work autonomously and establish priorities without supervision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels. A flexible, resilient attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to changing business demands.
