About the position:
The Planning Officer role focuses on coordinating and preparing work packages for regional maintenance to ensure the master work plan is delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:

Occupational Health & Safety: Upholding high safety standards, complying with policies, and leading by example.

Leadership: Demonstrating accountability, driving standardisation, and promoting continuous improvement.

Team Membership: Collaborating with various teams (Planning & Scheduling, Asset Management, Engineering) and actively seeking opportunities to improve personal skills.

Planning & Scheduling: Designing and managing maintenance work packages, schedules, and CMMS data.

Technical Process: Maintaining Ellipse system records, supporting management, and ensuring contractor compliance.
About the location:
This role is full time, 100% on site, based within the Upper Tumut region, working on a DIDO arrangement (4 day week).
About you:
-
Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualified (Certificate III or IV), with post-trade experience, ideally in heavy industry

Demonstrated ability to understand technical specifications and conduct inspections to deliver intended work outcomes.

Experience in maintenance and reliability improvement in Power Generation

Knowledge of OH&S, Environmental Policies and Standards and Maintenance Systems (Ellipse) is an advantage

Excellent communication & influencing skills with the ability to relate to all levels inside and outside the business

Good Technology skills and experience of maintenance program requirements, analysis techniques, and maintenance management practices
