About the position:

The Accommodation Officer plays a vital role in the efficient management of township accommodation and facilities in Cabramurra. This role focuses on delivering high-quality services, ensuring the reliable operation of our accommodation assets, and facilitating a safe and well-maintained living environment in a DIDO environment. In this role, you will be a key point of contact for contractors and Snowy employees, requiring agility, strong teamwork, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accommodation Coordination: Administer the RMS booking system, manage room allocations, and distribute access cards. Coordinate daily cleaning and catering requirements and manage bookings for function and training rooms. Organise inspections, implement comprehensive property maintenance checklists, and manage Tenancy agreements, ensuring maintenance access requirements are met.

  • Financial & Administrative Reporting: Prepare financial reports, raise requisitions and purchase orders, and reconcile accounts (including electricity, EFTPOS, and cash transactions). Assist with annual budgeting for the Cabramurra Township.

  • Contractor Supervision: Provide supervision to township contractors and ensure work is completed to SHL standards.

  • Emergency Response: Support township emergency response activities, including acting as a duty fire warden and first aid responder (training provided).

About the location:

This position is based at Cabramurra, in the stunning Kosciuszko National Park, working on an 8-day DIDO (Drive-In, Drive-Out) arrangement.

About you:

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A Hospitality or Administration certificate, or relevant accommodation booking experience.

  • Strong customer service focus with the ability to build trust and maintain professional, impartial relationships.

  • Highly developed computer skills and proficiency in using booking/management systems.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to contingency plan and resolve problems effectively.

  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity, security, and privacy.

  • Demonstrated agility, ownership, and a collaborative team-based mindset.

  • First Aid/Advanced First Aid qualifications (preferred) or the ability to obtain.
